Adorable moments as Malami, Barau get hitched

Abiru-Rahman, a son of the former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, tied the knot with his beloved Khadija Barau in a weeklong celebration that culminated in a Fatiha on Friday, January 12, 2024.

The wedding took place at the National Mosque, Sani Abacha Way, Abuja, and was nothing short of a fairytale.

The Fatiha was a simple yet elegant affair, with both families beaming with joy as they bestowed blessings upon the newlyweds. The imam presided over the ceremony, giving the couple his blessings.

Prior to the Fatiha, the couple had their traditional wedding Kamu, which was a grand and colourful celebration.

The bride and groom looked stunning at the ceremony, with Abiru-Rahman donning a brown traditional outfit and a blue cap, while his beautiful bride glimmered in a glittery orange attire. The couple was clearly overjoyed to be together, with romance filling the air as they took center stage under the light. The groom could not take his eyes off his beloved bride, and there were many heartfelt moments shared between the couple and their families.

The guests were also treated to a wonderful time, with the groomsmen and bridesmaids taking to the dance floor with great enthusiasm. The groomsmen even lifted Abiru-Rahman in the air in a moment of pure joy and excitement. The couple also hosted a sophisticated cocktail party, dressed in matching dark blue outfits. The party was filled with laughter and fun.
