Budding singer, Mark Osazuwa, aka Alabahd, has said that his debut single titled, ‘Deliver’, was inspired by the mysteries surrounding his life.
Speaking in an interview with Saturday Beats, he said, “My latest single, ‘Deliver’, was basically inspired by life in general, especially as regards how far I have come in the midst of chaos, uncertainty, struggles and multiple failures. It is also about the mysterious manners in which I always get back on my feet to take a step forward.”
He added, “It is more than just a debut single, it is a statement of intent from me. It captures my passion for music, and my desire to connect with a broad audience. With its infectious beats and memorable hooks produced by the talented Verbb, the track promises to be a hit, setting the stage for me to establish myself as a significant force in the industry. The collaboration with Verbb adds an extra layer of polish and professionalism to the song, ensuring it stands out in a crowded market.”
Asked to describe his sound, the singer said, “I would describe my sound as ‘afro-movie’. My sound is based on what’s going on in society per time.”
The singer also listed the high cost of song production and promotion as one of the major challenges he faces. This was even as he called for an end to godfatherism in the industry.
On the artistes he would like to work with, he said, “I will like to work with artistes such as TML Vibez, Muyeez, Ayo Maff, Zinoleesky, Omah Lay, Fola, Oppa Idrizza, among others. Bigger artistes that want to work with me are also welcome.”
