Gospel singer, David Ogwu, popularly called David Nathan Ile has narrated how he is willing to spread God’s presence through his music.

Nathan-Ile disclosed this in an interview with The PUNCH on Thursday.

According to him, the world’s noise often drowns out spiritual reflection hence his willingness to let his voice cut through the situation with a divine purpose.

He said, “My journey is not just about creating melodies but about facilitating transformation, driven by a deep desire to see lives changed by the overwhelming love of God.

“When I create music, I’m not just composing songs. I’m creating opportunities for encounters with the Holy Spirit. Music is a powerful vessel that carries God’s presence and grace, and it leaves a lasting impact on all who listen.”

“His dedication to this mission is unmistakable, resonating powerfully with his growing audience.”

Nathan-Ile musical catalog includes tracks such as “A Word,” “HolySpirit feat Nosa & WeAreTheNewMusic,” and “E Don Show ft Street Church,” each track deeply rooted in personal revelation.

Speaking on his songs, the artiste stressed that every song he writes is born out of my personal experiences with God.

“‘A Word’ came to life during a season of waiting on God, demonstrating how a single word from Him can shift any situation. HolySpirit’ expresses my yearning for deeper intimacy with God, inviting His presence to flow freely. ‘E Don Show’ is a celebration of God’s promise of resurrection—a reminder that when God shows up, everything changes.”

Looking ahead, David said he is excited about the future, stressing, “I’m thrilled to announce my upcoming EP, ‘Cloud of Glory’, slated for release in early 2025.

“This project holds a special place in my heart; each song was birthed from moments of deep worship and reflection. My prayer is that Cloud of Glory will inspire people to experience God’s tangible presence and draw closer to Him.”

David’s ministry has taken him across the globe, with performances in Nigeria, London, Ghana, and Uganda.
