Leah Williamson has withdrawn from her first England squad since April after injuring her hamstring.

The 26-year-old was named in the squad for February's fixtures with Austria and Italy after missing nine months of last year with an anterior cruciate knee ligament (ACL) injury.

Manchester United defender Millie Turner takes Williamson's squad place.

The 23-player squad travel to Spain on Monday for a warm weather camp, before facing Austria on 23 February and Italy on 27 February.

Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall described Williamson's injury as "really minor" on Saturday but said she would "likely" withdraw from the national squad.

Williamson, who was captain for England's Euro 2022 triumph, made her Arsenal comeback in January after being sidelined with her ACL injury.

She has yet to play a full 90 minutes since her recovery, having featured as a substitute in a 6-0 League Cup win at Reading on 25 January.

She started on 4 February and played the first half as Arsenal lost 2-1 at West Ham in the Women's Super League.
