In May, the KwaZulu-Natal government hired adjunct professor Christian Adendorff, who parted ways with the Nelson Mandela University (NMU) after he was exposed for plagiarising two international documents and getting paid a handsome R2.2 million for "strategic" work that wasn't originally his.
Adendorff is now the KwaZulu-Natal deputy chairperson of the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) Commission.
Leon Rolls is the chairperson, with Lungile Zulu, Stella Bvuma and Sibongiseni Thosetjane as commissioners.
