The ANC is hoping to prove naysayers wrong as it has set its sights on securing no less than the 10 million votes it received in the 2019 elections, and hopes to lure an extra 4 million new votes.
The party, over the weekend, tightened its election strategy with just a little over a month before South Africans go to the polls.
ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa told senior party members the only way to secure the additional three to four million votes needed to win the elections was to ensure there were boots on the ground.
