SA Reserve Bank governor Lesetja Kganyago's daughter, Mmabodiba Kganyago, has bagged eight distinctions in the 2023 matric exams that were administered by the Independent Examinations Board.
The 18-year-old matriculant from Cornwall Hill College in Pretoria was accepted to study medicine at Wits University and the University of Pretoria, and actuarial science at both these universities as well as at Stellenbosch University and the University of Cape Town.
But she has opted to study actuarial science instead of medicine because "I have a passion for numbers".
