Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande's scheduled meeting with the University of Fort Hare council in East London on Friday collapsed after disputes over the agenda.
This after university council members complained they were not given an agenda for the meeting.
Nzimande had called a meeting with the university council members to discuss the "latest developments" and "several concerns that were raised" by stakeholders at the institution.
