A man has appeared in court for allegedly pretending to be a UN official to get himself a police escort to voting stations during the 2021 local government elections.
Nhlanhla Sizani, 24, briefly appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on charges of fraud, forgery and uttering, said Hawks spokesperson Colonel Katlego Mogale.
He was issued with a summons on 12 December 2023.
