A raging fire gutted at least two homes in Hangklip, Pringle Bay.

A fire threatening Buffeljags and Pearly Beach continues to burn out of control, with alien vegetation and a high fuel load hampering firefighting activities, the Overstrand Local Municipality has said.
The municipality said on Friday morning that a change in weather had brought some light drizzle, but it was not enough to dampen the blaze.
Overstrand municipal manager Dean O'Neill said no damage to property or injuries were reported, and the teams were busy with active firefighting.
