A Gauteng man, who allegedly attacked Anthea Houston at the Cape Town Marathon at the weekend, has been suspended, his running club said on Tuesday.
The Pretoria-based man allegedly hit and pushed Houston, the CEO of the non-profit organisation, Communicare, to the ground during the race on Sunday.
His running club, the Pretoria Marathon Club (PMC), said in a statement that they viewed the allegations in a serious light.
