A Western Cape woman is accused of human trafficking after three girls were rescued from a residential complex in George.
The Hawks arrested the 43-year-old woman on Saturday after they received information that the three girls had been trafficked in a shipping container from West Africa.
"They were allegedly given fake passports. Information was that the girls were advertised on an escort website and were kept in a residential complex in George," Hawks spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Siyabulela Vukubi said.
