Dion George has resigned from the DA, as well as from Parliament.
George made the announcement in an exclusive sit-down interview with eNCA, where he read out a statement detailing the reasons for his departure from the party.
George, who had been a member of the DA since 1995, said he had written to the party on Thursday to cancel his membership. He also resigned as the federal chairperson of finance and as an MP.
“The situation has become intolerable. I have been pushed out, and it is no longer feasible for me to remain in the party,“ he said.
