Testimony by a self-described gangster who witnessed the aftermath of the murder of little Marilyn Adams in Eerste River did not contain descriptions of the luxurious homes and expensive whiskey depicted in shows like Power Book II: Ghost or films like The Godfather.
Instead, he spoke matter-of-factly of a life dodging bullet, and constantly being on the lookout for gunmen who, like himself, must kill a competitor if necessary.
