The 2024 general elections will see the future of the country wrested from the hands of a few and placed in the "hands of the people", IFP president Velenkosini Hlabisa told the party faithful.

Hlabisa delivered his final rally speech at a jam-packed uMhlathuze sports complex in Richards Bay. 

The IFP catered for its supporters with hundreds of KFC buckets that were transported to the stadium by bakkies bearing the party's logo.
