The DA's TV advert in which the South African flags burns has not negatively affected the party's support and will have no impact on the electoral support come Wednesday.

This according to DA national spokesperson Solly Malatsi who spoke hours before the party's final rally in Benoni, Johannesburg, on Sunday.

"Well, we have been able to conduct daily polls, and we have been doing that throughout the election campaign, and we haven't seen any downwards, in terms of the DA's polling since the issuing of that flag.
