The Al Messilah docked at the East London Harbor on Tuesday.
The National Council of Societies for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA) is up in arms after another live cattle ship docked at the East London Harbour on Tuesday.
NSPCA spokesperson Jacques Peacock said the Al Messilah "death ship" was set to load 57 000 live cattle onboard before it left the harbour on Friday, to make its way to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
"Most of the cattle started boarding [the vessel] from Wednesday. They had been brought in by huge trucks transporting the cattle from a feedlot in the Eastern Cape," added Peacock.
