Enyobeni tavern owner Siyakhangela Owen Ndevu.
Young patrons of the Enyobeni tavern, where 21 youngsters died last year, kept neighbours awake at night with loud outdoor sex, the East London Regional Court heard on Wednesday.
Prosecutor Tango Phangalele revealed this in the trial of tavern owners Siyakhangela Owen Ndevu and wife, Vuyokazi, who are charged with violating the Liquor Act.
On Wednesday, Phangalele asked Ndevu during cross-examination to respond to an allegation made by one of the nine state witnesses, George Khwinana, before the State closed its case in August.
