The Gauteng High Court in Pretoria has ordered that the trial of former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi be separated in the R1.8 billion Bosasa and Department of Correctional Services fraud and corruption case due to his ill health.

Judge David Makhoba granted the order on Friday in line with Section 157 of the Criminal Procedure Act 51 of 1997.

This means co-accused Linda Morris Mti, Patrick O'Connell Gillingham, and Andries Johannes Jacobus van Tonder will be tried separately to Agrizzi.
