The father of a Khayelitsha teenager who was kidnapped, tortured and murdered says his son's absence has left him heartbroken and with a "wound that will never heal". 

Max Ntanyana, the father of 17-year-old Aluta Bomvana, spoke to News24 a month after his son's funeral. 

He said while his son's death would take time to accept, he worried that the police's handling of the case would scupper justice and fail to give the family closure.
