And then there were seven.

The FF Plus announced on Thursday afternoon that it had decided to join the government of national unity (GNU) – joining the ANC, DA, IFP, PA, GOOD, and PAC.

"FF Plus received an invitation to be part of the GNU and, after careful consideration, decided to get involved to help restore and rebuild South Africa," party leader Pieter Groenewald said in a statement released on Thursday afternoon.
