Power has been cut in various parts of Johannesburg after an underground fire broke out along the M1 early on Wednesday morning.
It is suspected that the fire was the result of theft and vandalism, but the matter is still under investigation.
Johannesburg Emergency Management Services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi said the fire was above the M1 double-decker highway bridge, according to reports they had received.
