Four suspected murderers were killed in a shootout with KwaZulu-Natal police on Thursday night.
Police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda said that the four had all been wanted for "various violent crimes including murder".
The shootout took place in Cato Manor after members of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Stabilisation Team followed up on a tip-off on the location of the wanted men.
