Expect an assortment of weather conditions across South Africa, according to the South African Weather Service.

While some regions will experience cloudy and cool temperatures, low-lying areas may experience isolated showers and thunderstorms, leading to flooding.

Impact-based warnings

Yellow Level 2 warning: Disruptive rainfall is expected over the southern parts of the West Coast District, northern parts of the West Coast, City of Cape Town, Cape Winelands and Overberg districts in the Western Cape, leading to localised flooding of susceptible formal and informal settlements and roads.

In the weather service's colour-coded weather warning system, yellow indicates a moderate risk of impact that requires caution and awareness.

The weather service uses the numbers to indicate the likelihood of weather-based impacts occurring.
