The weather service has forecast hot conditions across most parts of the country on Friday.

Fine and hot conditions are forecast for most of the country, with wind expected in some parts, according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS).

Gauteng: Expect fine and warm weather, with hot conditions in the extreme north.

Pretoria: 12°C – 31°C

Johannesburg: 11°C – 30°C

Vereeniging: 10°C – 30°C

Mpumalanga: Fine and warm in most areas, but it will be hot to very hot in places on the Lowveld.

Mbombela: 10°C – 30°C

Ermelo: 7°C – 30°C

Emalahleni: 10°C – 29°C

Limpopo: Clear skies and warm conditions, with some areas reaching hot temperatures.

Western Cape: Cool along some coastal areas, otherwise fine and warm. Partly cloudy conditions may develop over the northeast by the afternoon.

Coastal winds: Moderate north-westerly along the south coast in the morning while fresh to strong south-westerly winds on the west and south-west coast in the afternoon.
