On Friday, adoring fans caused traffic jams across the city as they waited to see their favourite players. 

The Boks made it back-to-back Rugby World Cup title wins on Saturday when they held off the All Blacks to win 12-11.

During the parade, Bok captain Siya Kolisi said: "I hope that going forward in business, in everyday life, that we understand that the team only won because we decided to put our different cultures and differences aside and focus on the country.

"I think that's the most important thing."

Kolisi also thanked Cape Town residents for their unwavering support.
