Gauteng police arrested a 57-year-old man for allegedly interfering with a motorcade transporting a foreign VIP dignitary to the Lanseria International Airport on Sunday morning.
News24 understands that the motorcade was for the deputy president of a Southern African Development Community (SADC) country.
Clayson Monyela, spokesperson for the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, referred all queries to the police.
