German machines, "executive" vehicles, some with loud sirens and blue lights, will "invade" Gauteng next week as the ANC's leadership heads to the province to canvass support ahead of the 29 May elections. 

The convoys will stop traffic and cause severe congestion as their heavily armed guards escort them.  

The occupants could step out of their vehicles, donning Gucci sneakers, Prada sweats and, if you look closely, Michael Kors reading specs.
