Newly elected DA Western Cape leader Tertius Simmers has taken a dig at his rival Bonginkosi Madikizela, emphasising he is the party leader Madikizela now has to follow.
"I am his leader, and he will now follow the leader. That is how it works," Simmers said during an interview shortly after being announced as the new provincial leader.
But he quickly played down any friction between himself and Madikizela.
