She gets shivers down her spine when she recalls the photographers' flashing cameras as they jostled to capture pictures of her as one of the four people arrested in connection with the disappearance of 6-year-old Joshlin Smith.

"I feel embarrassed that my children and family were dragged into this unfortunate incident. It's been an unpleasant experience, and I don't wish this on any human," said Phumza Sigaqa, who spoke exclusively to News24 a day after charges of human trafficking and kidnapping against her were withdrawn.

News headlines identified her alongside Joshlin's mother, Kelly Smith, as one of the people allegedly involved in a plot to traffick the little girl.
