Michael Buthelezi, 46, allegedly burnt his partner and three children to death.
Angry residents in the Drakensberg town of Bergville in KwaZulu-Natal have called on the local court to deny bail to a DA councillor accused of murdering his partner and three children.
Michael Buthelezi, 46, has been in police custody since December after he was charged in connection with an arson attack on his home in Bhetheni, Bergville.
The incident in October claimed the lives of Buthelezi's partner, 43-year-old Khombisile Nyoka, and their three children - Simbongile, two, Zibusiso, eight, and 10-year-old Lubanzi Buthelezi.
