KwaZulu-Natal Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube said five people, including a one-year-old child, died when their home collapsed.
The most recent fatalities were reported in the Inkosi Langalibalele local municipality, the Nquthu local municipality and the Mpofana local municipality.
