Criminals broke into the offices of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Bloemfontein, Free State, in the early hours of Monday, making off with four laptops and voice recorders.
Despite gaining access to several offices, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said the burglars did not obtain sensitive information.
"The NPA, even though shocked, disturbed, and disdained by these cowardly acts, will not be discouraged to continue prosecuting all cases without fear, favour, or prejudice."
