Independent attorneys investigating the drownings of two Daveyton pupils have seven days to conclude the probe into the circumstances that led to the teenagers' deaths. 

The spokesperson for the Gauteng education department, Steve Mabona, said MEC Matome Chiloane visited the families of Siphamandla Peterson and Sibusiso Sibiya on Friday to introduce Seanego Attorneys.

Mabona said the lawyers would present a report with recommendations to the MEC.
