GOOD councillor Lawrence Troon.
Just three days after a member of the Nelson Mandela Bay mayoral committee filed a lawsuit against a GOOD councillor for alleged defamation, the fellow councillor has hit back, claiming there is more alleged corruption to his EFF colleague than meets the eye.
The city's head of Infrastructure and Engineering and regional chairperson of the EFF, Khanya Ngqisha, is suing Lawrence Troon for R800 000 for defamation.
Ngqisha claims Troon made defamatory remarks against him during an interview with a media publication last Thursday and also dragged his name through the mud on social media.
