A KZN woman and her lover were sentenced to life in prison for ordering a hit on her stepson.

The KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Pietermaritzburg sentenced a stepmother and her lover to life imprisonment for the murder of a traditional leader in November 2021.
NPA spokesperson Natasha Ramkisson-Kara said the incident happened in Nkandla.
She said Lizzy Khethiwe Zondi, 52, and Wilmot Celimpilo Shabangu, 62, were sentenced on Thursday.
