A police officer has died following a shootout with suspected robbers.
The 44-year-old police sergeant was severely injured and later died in hospital.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba said the officer and his colleague had been called out to a business robbery on Friday morning in Tshinda Village in Limpopo.
