Police are investigating a case of murder after a man believed to be a ward councillor was killed in Mamelodi.
Police are investigating the murder of a 36-year-old man, believed to be a ward councillor, who was shot in Lusaka, Mamelodi, on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko said: “Unknown suspects, driving a white Nissan Almera, allegedly shot the victim. The investigation is currently underway, and no arrests have been made at this stage.”
She added that the motive for the shooting remains unclear.
