After almost 15 years, the man accused of raping Gauteng businesswoman Andy Kawa has been found guilty.

Moses Gqesha was arrested more than a decade after the December 2010 rape at the Gqeberha beachfront.

He was convicted of eight counts of rape in the Eastern Cape High Court in Gqeberha on Wednesday.

Judge Phillip Zilwa said: "The State proved its case against the accused beyond reasonable doubt."
