
A team of forensic experts are seen combing the scene where an attempted hit took place on Klapper Street in Van Dyk Park on Thursday.
Wiandre Pretorius, who was implicated in the Madlanga Commission, survived a suspected attempted hit at his home on Thursday.
Gauteng police commissioner, Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni, said the “victim” was ambushed as he arrived at his residence in Van Dyk Park, Boksburg.
According to Mthombeni, the man escaped unharmed after 16 bullets were fired.
While Mthombeni refrained from confirming the victim’s identity, News24 verified with two police sources that the man was Pretorius.
