Police are investigating the murder of a man who was shot dead in the parking lot of Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg on Wednesday after visiting a friend.

“The South African Police Service has opened a case of murder after a 45-year-old man was fatally shot multiple times at the parking area of Milpark Hospital,” police spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko said.

“The incident occurred after the victim allegedly visited a friend at the hospital.”

No one was arrested in connection with the murder and further details were not available at the time of publication.
