ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula says he fails to understand why black business people don't proudly give financial support to the ANC.
Speaking at the SA National Civic Organisation (Sanco) national conference in Durban on Saturday, he said businesses "are shy to donate" to the ANC.
He also took a swipe at Capitec for "funding the DA", but this claim by the ANC Youth League has been denied by the company and disproved by donations records.
