Omar Badsha, celebrated documentary photographer and friend of the late Peter Magubane, has recalled how the photojournalist was "at the forefront" of many historical moments, capturing them through his lens.
The award-winning photojournalist is best known for documenting inequality during apartheid, including the 16 June Soweto Uprising in 1976.
