Former president Jacob Zuma and his uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) knew he was disqualified from contesting the 2024 general elections, and had even made representations to the Electoral Commission of SA (IEC), the commission will argue when it presents its case to the Electoral Court.

Its advocate, Tembeka Ngcukaitobi, SC, will present its argument in the Electoral Court sitting in Bloemfontein on Monday.
