The South African Weather Service has issued a Yellow Level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms and heavy rains.
Impact-based warnings:
Yellow Level 2 warning (high likelihood of minor impact): Severe thunderstorms with strong winds, excessive lightning and heavy downpours, with localised damage to infrastructure and short-term disruption of power supply and communication, are expected over the western and central parts of KwaZulu-Natal and the eastern parts of Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
