According to the South African Weather Service, Monday will be cool and cloudy in most provinces, while parts of the North West, Free State, and Northern Cape can expect severe thunderstorms and heavy rain. 

Impact-based warnings

A. Yellow Level 2 warning: Severe thunderstorms with possible heavy downpours are expected to lead to flooding of susceptible roads, bridges and informal settlements in the south-western parts of the North West, central and the western parts of the Free State as well as the far eastern parts of the Northern Cape.
