Partly cloudy and warm conditions are forecast for most of SA.

The South African Weather Service has forecasted partly cloudy conditions with warm temperatures and scattered to isolated thundershowers for most of the country. 

Otherwise, it will be fine, and temperatures will be hot in some regions. 

Impact-based warning

A Yellow Level 1 warning has been issued for damaging waves resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea for small vessels and personal watercraft between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas from the afternoon.

Fire danger warning

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the City of Cape Town and Saldanha Bay Municipality in the Western Cape and Khai-Ma Municipality in the Northern Cape.

Gauteng will be partly cloudy with warm temperatures and isolated showers and thundershowers from the afternoon.

Hot temperatures are expected in the extreme north.

Morning fog patches in places on the Highveld are forecasted for Mpumalanga.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate south-westerly, becoming a moderate to fresh south-easterly during the morning.

Cloudy and warm conditions with scattered showers and thundershowers are expected for the eastern half of the province.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh south-westerly, becoming southerly in the afternoon, but south-easterly in the south.

KwaZulu-Natal will have morning fog patches in places over the interior.

Otherwise, partly cloudy, and warm to hot temperatures are expected with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the west.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate easterly to north-easterly, becoming moderate southerly to south-easterly by late morning.
