DA MP Glynnis Breytenbach was kicked out of Parliament on Thursday for refusing to apologise for saying that new Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka, had succeeded in her career at the National Prosecuting Authority because she had a "cosy" and "intimate" relationship with then-NPA boss Menzi Simelane.
Breytenbach made the allegations on Thursday during a sitting to debate and consider Gcaleka as the new Public Protector. The DA is opposed to her being appointed.
