It's been a month since 16-year-old Zamawushe Momoti was caught in the crossfire of a suspected gang shooting outside Belgravia High School in Athlone, and police have still not made any arrests.

It was the end of the school day on 19 April and the Grade 11 pupil had just left to catch her transport home when gangs opened fire. She quickly turned back so that she could take shelter at the school, but it was too late.

She sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died. A 20-year-old man who was passing by was also killed.
