News24 | Nyanga locals say 'thugs' too high on drugs to remember robbing, attacking residents

The Nyanga police station is continuing with daily high-density operations as the area battles a high crime rate.

"Some of these thugs are so high on drugs, they don't even remember that they robbed and violently attacked us. Then, a few days later, they come begging for food at our doors," exasperated Nyanga residents complain. 

People here are fed up with the violent crime plaguing the area, leading to it being dubbed a no-go zone.

For locals who have first-hand experience of the violent crime, the reality has become too much to bear.
